ONWEX is designed to be used before messy work, not after it. The routine is simple: apply, spread, dry, work and rinse.
1. Apply
Start with clean, dry hands. Use a small amount of ONWEX and avoid over-applying; too much product can take longer to dry.
2. Spread
Rub the gel evenly over your hands, including the backs of your hands, between fingers and around fingernails.
3. Let It Dry
Allow ONWEX to dry before beginning the task. Once dry, the barrier becomes unobtrusive during normal work.
4. Work
Use ONWEX before tasks involving common messes such as grease, oil, paint, silicone, sealants, adhesives and similar materials.
5. Rinse
When the task is complete, rinse thoroughly with water. Depending on the material and amount of contamination, mild soap may still be useful.
Why the Pre-Work Step Matters
The barrier is intended to help reduce how strongly jobsite messes bond directly to the skin. That can make cleanup easier and reduce the amount of heavy scrubbing needed afterward.
Use the Right Protection for the Job
ONWEX is an additional pre-work barrier, not a substitute for required gloves or other PPE. If the chemical, material, employer or task requires protective gloves, use them.
